Hello, New Premier!
The old Chinese saying: When one leaves, his tea gets cold. This might be the most fitting line for the historical moment on March 15, 2013, when Li Keqiang (back towards the camera) was elected to be China’s Premier for the next 10 years at the National People’s Congress. He was surrounded by other senior officials of China while the outgoing premier Wen Jiabao (left near the corner of the picture) appeared to be happy, leaving alone.
Guess what Wen was thinking? “Finally I can take a break!”
